Paradise Lands

[What a truly fascinating place this was! Sin had been trying to investigate it as much as possible, flitting between dream worlds and conversing with the dreamers until he discovered that it seemed to be just one big shared space for dreamers. A space he wasn't entirely in control of but he was a Spirit of Dreams, he could still weave his own. Yes ( Read more... )

[It was beautiful! Ami had not lost her appreciation of nature; if anything, it had only heightened. The flowers make her almost nostalgic for what seems like a very long time ago indeed.

Some of the thrill fades to a wariness when she realizes how quiet the place is, and that she seems to be the only one there for now.]

[At least until Sin saw her. He watched her appreciation for a moment, pleased that she seemed to be enjoying herself. But finally he approached.] I hope you aren't feeling lonely...

I'm never lonely.

[This comes tiny smile and toss of her head - and is of course a lie. Loneliness has motivated far too much of what she's done.]

Never? Are you sure about that? To never be lonely, you must have truly wonderful friends. [Of course it could be true, but he assumed it would be very rare among humans.]

Willow was entranced. There was simply no other word for it. She wished Tara were here, wished it sorely; knew that her girl would appreciate this as much as she was.

She stood in the bare plains, fingers outstretched to skim among the blossoms and the lights, feel them as they passed. There was a strange sense here, otherworldly; as a witch, she wasn't unfamiliar with such things. She instinctively knew that there was more at hand.

"This is beautiful," she said softly, not looking up from the flowers. "Who made this?"

"Just a wandering Spirit", came a voice from beside her suddenly. "You like it then? I was afraid nobody would come, being wrapped up in their own little dream worlds." As the strange man spoke he plucked one of the flowers, watching the light continue to spread from its center despite being disconnected from the earth.

Oh, this is... definitely the wandering spirit in question. That echoey voice was hint number one.

Willow's fairly at home talking to spirits, though; she merely turns to face him directly and gains an undertone of respect. "I like it very much," she admits. "Is this a real place?"

Well, well. He doesn't miss that undertone of respect in her voice and it earns her a mildly impressed smirk from him. Could it be she had some idea of who or at least what she was speaking to?

As for her question. "This place itself is an illusion. But outside of the dream it may or may not be real. Many believe it just to be legend, but I have personally witnessed the grand Kingdom of Agkelos. I'll leave it up to you to decide."

One lured into such a dream was a small dark-haired woman. A few nights had passed since she had begun falling into other people's dream spaces, confused and more than a little surprised. It hadn't made sense at all to her how she could be awake after she had finally succumbed to the heavy darkness of her hibernation.

Eventually she had figured out that these were all dreams. She'd seen too many places, changed to too many landscapes and switched to fast to ever believe this was any kind of reality.
She landed within this dream in the middle of one of those plains filled with white flowers. Saya had yet to learn the trick to entering dreams gracefully and so she landed in a flurry of white skirt and even whiter flower petals.

A soft sigh dropped from the teenager, a few lonesome petals floating out off of her dark hair. "I guess it will take some time to get that trick down."

Never mind Saya, there's a curious Spirit here to try and help you up. He seems amused by her rather clumsy entrance, but tries his best not to show it. Which is hard for him. A laugh might escape him as he offers a hand.

"Safe landing? I don't normally have people dropping into my dreams. That must be a first, I will have to congratulate you. But at least you landed in good company and even better surroundings."

Saya appears less angry over the other's laugh and more flustered that someone actually caught her arrival. And it only deepens when he speaks.

She takes the hand though, finally giving an awkward smile as she brushes petals and grass off her dress. "Better surrou--"

She's finally aware of just where she landed. Her gaze drifts over the stretches of flowers, at first surprised and then with a growing smile. "Is this your dream?"

Well, this visitor was certainly an adorable one. He can't help but return the smile as she stands, still amused by her dawning realisation of just where she was and what had happened. He nods to answer her question.

"Just one of many, but it seems that this one is a little different. Normally I would weave dreams for just one person. This dream seems open to everyone willing to explore it."
