[Mars. Ami - dark hair, Asian features - recoils enough to be noticeable when she first realizes it must be - she remembers the look of the warlike planet. The nexus again? The dream world?

It doesn't matter which. It makes her... greedy. Perhaps that's the right word, she decides. It isn't quite envy, but she wants to see her planet alive and thriving once more, and a tantalizing glimpse like this makes it seem to close to possible.

She's carrying tea, it turns out. Two cups. One of these, she holds out to Seth once she makes her way to the largest lab.]

You'll be in better shape to keep working after a few minutes of rest. Shall we go ahead?

[Oh tea. Her light and salvation in all difficult situations. Seth straightens up and turns towards Ami with a weary smile. Of course being worn out did do a number on her enthusiasm but tea and a break did sound much like heaven.]

I suppose. It's not as though we're expecting another batch of colonists anytime soon.

[Ami invites herself to sit- on the edge of the counter, legs dangling over the side.]

Even if we were, they can wait five minutes.

[She takes a sip of her own tea, peering into the dark liquid.]

If they're over-zealous, they five minute wait might be some kind of torture.

[Well now, this is a strange sight. Not the stark facilities, or the mysterious red planet, but Seth doing actual work. And not only doing actual work, but spending hours on it.]

My, my, it seems that a little panda has escaped its cage and taken the place of our fearless leader. How long has it last been since you took a break?

Nah. Then information gets misplaced or something get authorized that shouldn't. It seems possibly dangerous to the colony.

[Which is a pleasant and welcome change. The last thing she'd need is a raging brother. And while she normally would have more of a witty comment she's a bit too worn to come up with one.]

Longer then you. But hey, work has to get done. Better now then never, right?

You should get some rest.
