We went to see the Minnesota Orchestra last night with Con.  I had a hard time with it.  I don't know how to focus my attention solely on music, so I felt really awkward.  Also, I had no idea who the composer of the first two pieces was (some Finnish guy, but beyond that I don't know).  I was better able to concentrate during the Beethoven piece.

Just close your eyes and let the music be all there is. Unless you have other things to do, then having to sit through a concert is frustrating and you can't concentrate on it. Not that I speak from experience or anything. =P

Some Finnish guy? Was it Sibelius? He's a cool dude.

Yeah, I think so. From what I heard, he was cool, but I was alternately worrying about not having finished the reading and zoning out. My attention span is too short, I think.
