Hah!  Now I don't feel like the unlucky child.  I still had to suffer through braces, though, so I still win.

Glasses are worse than braces. They're uglier, more on your way, more necessary and you most likely never get rid of them in your life, unlike from braces.

But on the other hand, I never had braces... ;)

I had braces and I have glasses. Personally, I think braces are worse, if only because of the monthly orthodontist visit to get them tightened! I also had to have surgery so they could attach a chain to one of my canine teeth to pull it down. That was a whole lotta pain, right there.

But you're right about the permanancy of glasses. I like my current ones, so I'm not bothered too much anymore, but I had really ugly ones when I was 13 (which is the worst time to have ugly glasses). That age was just miserable in general.

Yes, and if you need braces, you don't feel handicap without them, but if you have glasses you do... *angstangst* :):D
