Wes went shopping with my mom today after he got done with work, and has just come home with a bunch of new stuff for college.  I'm jealous.  I know I don't actually need any of it and should resist the consumerist urges endemic to my country, but damn if I don't want nice new towels...

 My mom just told me that one of her neighbors tried to send her that forward that claims Barack Obama is Muslim.  Apparently, Mom got on this woman's case for being too gullible and believing everything she hears.  I kind of love my mom right now!

She also shut my grandparents down for the exact same thing.

Hah!  Now I don't feel like the unlucky child.  I still had to suffer through braces, though, so I still win. 

Yes!  My parents have gotten their railpasses AND a hotel in Paris!  Oh, and tickets to Paris as well.  We are finished!!
