True weirdness hasn't happened to me in a long time.

But at 3 a.m. this morning I was awakened by a voice at my shoulder, saying, "Mom?"

I rolled over. No one was there.

This was not a dream. I'd been jolted immediately out of a dead sleep by this voice, and I'm one of those people do who remember their dreams. This was the voice of a girl, ( Read more... )

I had that happen to me once.

ONCE in my long life.

I was about 12, I think, spending the night at my grandma's with my cousin. Someone spoke my name very clearly. I woke up and said to my cousin, who was asleep at the other end of the sectional sofa, "What?"

She didn't answer, because she was ASLEEP.

Well, if it was Martha she would've called me "Momma," lol, and Shawna's mom is dead, so...it must be someone else.
