A Christmas Friday 10

Nope, haven't blogged for a while. For those of you who saw my locked post a couple of weeks back, dealing with that threw me out of the loop for a while. But here I am. With Christmas two days away, I'm happy to announce that:

1. I finished all my shopping and managed to navigate every store without one single physical or even verbal altercation.

Yeah, I bought a few gift cards myself...At least they won't be exchanged for something the right size. :>)

I hear you about the knees... only mine is from painting for the past month. At this point, I'm wondering if my back and knees will ever recover. :P

That sucks that you can't be home for Christmas. :( I hope you're able to have a great holiday in spite of that.

It's nice to hear people who are loving their Nooks/Kindles/what have you. I ended up getting one for Christmas with the money my family and my husband's family sent. It's under the tree though, so I haven't used it yet. Honestly, I never wanted one because I just like hard copies too much. I especially like to ooh and ahh over how pretty they all look on my shelves. But I'm running out of bookshelf space and places to put more shelves so I came the the realization that if I don't get an e-reader, I can't keep buying books. Hopefully I'll like it as much as everyone else seems to.
