Maybe I've been spending too much time with my paranormal. But can you see the orbs in the picture below? Two near the center of the mantle, and one near the two pics on the wall to the right. WEIRD!
Oh suuuuure, 3 specks of dust just happened to JUMP on my lens when I took that picture and then immediately jumped OFF when I took the next one? No way, Jose. I win. :D
I never believed in orbs until a couple of years ago. Some friends and I were at a writer's conference at a college built around an old farm that had been a Civil War hospital after the battle of Gettysburg. The old farm house still stood. My friends, who are experienced ghost hunters, got permission one night to do a ghost walk through it.
Now, one friend had just found a lump in her breast and was waiting results on tests. As the group headed up the stairs to the attic, she felt suddenly ill and said she would wait for us on the second floor. The guy weilding the camera had just taken a picture shooting up the staircase. Halfway up, he turned around and photographed my friend, standing at the bottom.
Next day, looking at the pictures, the photo of the staircase had one tiny "orb" on it. But the photo of my friend showed her surrounded by at least two dozen of them. So if it was dust, it all gathered on the lens as he turned around.
And my friend is fine, now. But it was a compelling moment for a non-believer like me.
