I'm happy because today was my last day of work for a while and I actually got a fair amount done!

I'm happy today that I actually got into work and got some stuff done.  That's better than nothing, right?

Today I was happy because I got to snuggle with a sleeping baby.  My baby isn't really a baby anymore, so I really cherish these few "baby" times that we still have.

Today I'm happy because the Godfreys are coming over to see us & we had very yummy tacos for dinner that my mother cooked. 

Ok, this is getting harder now, because I'm sick.  Today I am happy because I have both of my parents and my husband to take care of the kids while I convalesce.  Oh, and I'm happy that there is Tylenol and Advil to keep my fever in check.

Today I am happy because my parents are coming into town.  They have been really great grandparents to the kids.  And 2 years ago, when Alex was born, Linda brought Matthew my old Sesame Street clubhouse toy to play with.  It's been a continual favorite since then, and now Alex, at age two, is asking for it by name.  My pack rat mother is good for ( Read more... )

As I was dropping the boys off at school today, we saw the person delivering breakfast to each classroom. Keep in mind, when I was in school, we had lunch ladies straight out of "The Simpsons" - rotund, old, hair nets, & dressed all in white.
