David update

As of 10:30 this morning, the doctor said that David's spinal culture was still negative for bacterial growth. This is good - it means that it's viral & therefore not as dangerous or contagious. The doctor even told me to not bother with a gown, gloves, or mask when I visit. If you haven't been exposed yet, he still wants masks for the next 4

Oh, that's good news!

Hope the pain meds help and he starts to feel better...

Good news! I hope his head starts feeling better soon, too. Headaches of the normal variety are no fun...I can only imagine what this must be like. :(

On the bad news front, Corwin and I are both sick now, so you don't want us to come to Austin to help out this week. Sounds like you are pretty well covered anyway, though. If you still need help next week, though, let me know. We should hopefully be better by then.

Apparently most people who have had both meningitis and migraines say that meningitis takes the cake.
Depending on when Linda leaves, it might be nice to have a second adult around some next week. We'll play it by ear with respect to Linda leaving, my going back to work, and how David's feeling.
Right now, my biggest concern is feeding everyone when I know David will not be up for cooking & I'm trying to work & my mother has the energy for either house or kids, but not both.
