[Locked to Housemates][Kurt arrived none too gently in the middle of the night, lying in front of the fountain. His head was dizzy, but when he finally came to, he realized people were walking by him without so much as looking at him, despite his current state. He realized it was night time, but he was still stunned that they didn't seem to notice

[Now there's a friendly voice she hasn't heard in awhile.] Kurt! [Oh, wait. Too excited. He said he was feeling under the weather.] Everything all right?

[Voice]

[Whoa, that's not a voice he was expecting. It's not even half a second before he realizes who it is.]

Alexis! You're back?

[Voice]

[redheaded_rock]

Yeah. Just got in a few days ago. It hasn't been long at all.

[Voice]

[onebluebamf]

Wow. You've been gone for months. [And... well, apparently she remembers everything.]

[ action ]

[ anne has never been a particularly heavy sleeper -- not when her imagination likes to run away with her at every new sound in the night. therefore, when a rustle wakes her in the middle of the night? well...her mind starts a-churning. a burglar? did luceti have those?

cautiously, she creeps out from her bed and reaches for a very heavy, hard-covered tome of poetry. as good a weapon as any other, given the circumstances.

she tip-toes out of her room and into the hall -- a would-be hero in a flowery nightgown. ]

[With the lights out and Kurt just looking for his room, he is nothing more than a shadowy figure with glowing eyes. But he can see Anne perfectly fine. It's easy to forget she can't, so he raises a finger to his lips to shush her, not realizing she won't be able to see it.]

[ action ]

[slatebreaker]

I'll have you know that I am quite aware that you're there -- whoever you are. [ she whispers a very damning tirade of scolding into the darkness...lights, there! she can see them!

...a ghost? ] And I'll also have you know that I am not afraid of poltergeists or other restless spirits. Not afraid at all.

[ action ]

[It's then he realizes it's still dark inside. He's naturally hesitant at Anne seeing him like this. Having already ran into Rogue, he's been filled in on this new change.]

Ahh, calm down Anne! It's me, yeah? Just... don't freak out.

[ action ]

[touchofrogue]

[ It was just one of those nights. This was the third nightmare to wake Rogue up with a gasp and she was resigned to the fact that she just. Wasn't going to get to sleep. She shakes her head to clear the faint ghost-smell of smoke and brimstone from her mind and slips on her clothes.

She'll go to the Battle Dome. Leave a note on her pillow like a good girl. And run a sim until she actually felt tired enough to sleep, then - hopefully - commandeer a bed in the Med Lab.

She tucks her gloves on tightly and slips out the front door, blinking as she adjusts to the darkness. ]

[Normally Kurt would teleport straight into his room, but right now he feels like that he'd be doing that a drunk 'porter and who knows how that would end. When he sees Rogue stepping out of the house, he's definitely relieved. He's currently standing in the shadow of the house, with not even the Moon illuminating his approach. Still, tired as he is, he forces a smile anyway.]

Hey Rogue.

Kurt? [She whirls towards the voice, her own tone - for once - unabashedly enthusiastic] You're--

[And that's abruptly curbed] Where are you?

[ action ]

You can't see me?

[When he realizes she seems to be only looking at his 'voice' and not him, he ends up confused. It's not that dark, is it? But then, those people didn't see him in the plaza. The light coming from the doorway isn't that far, so he steps out into the light.]

Better?

You're back!

[Oh, it's a relief to hear Kurt's voice. She'd been worried, when she found out he'd been taken. Her concern doesn't completely dissipate, though, when he mentions he doesn't feel well.]

...they didn't hurt you, did they?

[voice]

[And there's Vivi. She's among the last people he wants to see him like this. He was already lucky she treated him normal. Adding this to his appearance...]

I don't think so. Not much, anyway.

[voice]

[Not as reassuring an answer as she'd like. She'd offer Chopper's services as a doctor to check Kurt over, except for the fact that...he's still missing, too. Sigh.]

[She manages a wan smile, though, and attempts a joke.] No strange aftereffects? You're the right size, I hope.

[voice]

[It makes him smile, even if only a tiny bit.]

I might have gained half a centimeter.

[voice]

Kurt, I'm so glad you're back. Are you all right? Do you need anything?

[voice]

[onebluebamf]

Hey Mia. [He's glad to hear from her, but he ends up nudging his sunglasses closer to his face, just to be sure.]

I'll be all right. Just not one hundred percent, yeah?

[voice]

I hope you aren't hurt.

[She can convey, with intonation alone, that if he is he had better mention it.]

Just a little worn out, that's all.

[It's nothing she can fix anyway.]
