*Came down the mountain from work yesterday. This time of year, this far north, it's pitch black 5 o'clock at night. Cold and raining. I walk in the door and a big pot of homemade chicken soup is on the burner. We had to eat, then go back out into the weather to go to plasma-but hey, there's no one I'd rather go with to sell my blood for money.

It beats my dad taking me and torakowalski out for lunch and following every mention of Ray with "and his boyfriend Hugh" (the Hugh-Ray joke, it's bad) which really caught tora off balance. I'm not sure he knows about the slash, but he has made comments re: the gaity of stories feature Fraser and Ray on the Quest, so maybe. He also knows that my dsss is kind of gay.

My name is Gwen and I'm the organizer of a Stargate fan club in Vancouver. Our Stargate Meetup has over 80 members on both sides of the border, and I wanted to invite other area fans to join. I did a search on the LIveJournal directory for Stargate fans who live in Bellingham and came up with your name.
David Hewlett (Rodney McKay) will be appearing in Point Roberts on July 4th as Grand Marshal of their parade. He will also be signing autographs and taking a picture with his fan club (us) afterwards. If you have a passport, come on up and join us.
