All in a day's work

So far today: I've been for an exhaustive pulmonary stress test, which made me feel ill & tired. And... I woke up with moderate laryngitis this morning, after sleeping a total of 3 hours last night (probably because I was getting sick!).

edit: it's not laryngitis it's the flu. Joy.

I just read this book, it's called "Another day in the Frontal Lobe". It's written by a young female Neuro-Surgeon. It's half autobiography, half a glimps into the world of neurosurgery. Some chapters...every page I read caused at least a chuckle if not audible laughter.  Another reason I like this book so much is that I can relate to this woman. ( Read more... )
