Peter pushed open the door to his room still grinning from the exhileration of his first space flight and the ensuing trip to Coruscant.
He'd flown a
real starfighter and been taught a bit about
lightsaber technique. He made a mental note to remember the forms Anakin had showed him. They were definitely something he wanted to think about more. He'd been intrigued by Anakin's comments about the government so made his way to the Galactic Senate where his opinions about democracy had been confirmed and he'd met a kind man - the
Chancellor. And then there was the absolute madness of trying to find his way around a city the size of a planet. He'd thought London big when he was a child, but it was nothing compared to Coruscant. He'd been able to find the recommended
club as well as a diner to have
breakfast with Blair. Surprisingly good breakfast and even tea though he'd not been brave or stupid enough to try the spleen tea.
He was still mulling over the events of the previous two days - or four hours - and looking forward to watching the rest of the Argentina/Germany match then spending the afternoon with Willow when he noticed a letter sitting on his desk. Heavy paper with a red lion rampant seal. Peter dropped his bag on the floor, knowing there was really only one place it could have come from. Breaking the seal with clumsy fingers, Peter read the letter once then twice, hoping the contents would change.
He made a hurried
phone call, then sat on his bed trying to regain some measure of equilibrium before facing other people again. He reread the scant few lines again, trying to find something new in it telling him when he was coming back to Fandom. The effort was no good. Especially since he was well-aware of the fact that if Narnia needed him, that was where he wanted to be. Regardless of how much he'd enjoyed his time here.
[OOC: I'll be away for most of next week so Peter's going home to Narnia on Monday. Post is closed to interaction unless the roomie happens to be around. Contents of letter and phone call NFB s'il vous plait]
