. . . many of which, I know, were actually made in the first half of the '60s, before things got Weird. But until mordath linked to this, I'd never seen a '60s educational film before (which was actually made in the early '70s, but who's counting?).

It does have a certain inexplicable charm to it, I agree. It's just also incredibly silly. I mean, ATP is wearing a jester's uniform and shooting smoke into the air.

Wow, that was cute! And it was rather fascinating too. I knew that DNA is basically about instructions for synthesizing proteins, but it's rather awe-inspiring to see how it happens on the molecular level.

OHMIGOD! i watched this late at night freshman year in college (this was before youtube was big, so i don't know how we saw it/found it) and thought it was the greatest thing evar! i'm happy it's on youtube now. i can inflict it on my parents!
