It's probably to make his character seem like a "safe" love interest. Because he cares about women and their health so he's an assumed good guy who is sensitive to women? That's my guess.

I have yet to see Lee Minho in a good drama. though I think the only one I've seen is Boys Over Flowers and...yeah. we all know how that went.

That said, I just looked up Gong Hyojin. Damn. she is gorgeous.

as long as this is a comedy, there is potential. however i don’t think their acting is on the same level….so that will be interesting. also as other ppl mentioned, why does he need to be a gynecologist. what plot point does that serve
