Before I forget again, something struck me a while back -- is there any chance of relaxing the 'members post oneshots directly to the comm' rule? It's a big help to have one actual fic post on my fic journal, with 'pointers' from any others, in order to keep any feedback in one place. And since multi-chapter fics are supposed to be posted that way, and all fics by non-members are automatically, it would be consistent with the way they're done.

Well, we do prefer that stories be posted directly to the comm, but if you glance back a few months you'll notice that we don't exactly enforce it. (In fact, I don't think we ever have.) If you post your stories to your own fic journal, we won't complain.

errr ... right, so I obviously have not finished and posted my story yet. It's been kind of a crazy month for me, and I thought that I'd be able to have it done by now, and I'm really sorry that it isn't. Is there any particular policy about late submissions? Should I just give the prompt up and start offering chocolates and apologies now?
