Day 92 - Early Morning - Gise's New Bedroom Chamber

Jun 23, 2012 22:55

Gise was in bed very comfortably and woke to the sweet smell of flowers from the gardens of the castle.  She opened her eyes and stretched her arms up and her legs out as she yawned.  She vigorously threw the sheets to the side and pulled herself to sit on the side of the bed.  She got up and walked to the window and threw open the curtains and ( Read more... )

Gisela wasn’t sure what to wear. She didn’t plan on going to the infirmary today (maybe later tonight when she had a free moment). She settled on a simple blouse and pants, and her boots. She was pulling her thick hair back in its braid when she heard the knock on her door. Bert had gone earlier, to work out or something, and she didn’t think he would knock.

Holding the end of her braid so it didn’t unravel, she moved to the door and pulled it open. “Oh, Gise,” she smiled. “I was going to come get you.” She stepped aside, giving her twin room to enter. “But this is fine. Come in. I’m almost done.” She eyed the uniform in Gise’s hands, but didn’t comment on it yet (as she couldn’t see clearly what it was).

"Thank you ma soeur!" She stepped inside the room and closed the door. "I found this among the clothes you so generously donated and I was not sure if I could wear this or if it was an official uniform so I decided to bring it to you." She said indicating the white uniform over her arm. "I was also hoping you would go with me into the town to do some shopping, but unfortunately I do not have any local argent...I think that would be money. I need to also find some herbs to burn in my room to cleanse it spiritually, not that I think Bert had any bad energy, he is pretty pure...in his own way." She smiled sunnily at her twin at that remark then she remembered that she was barefoot and pointed to her feet. "I also think I should get some shoes." She trailed off and giggled.

Gisela took the uniform from Gise, confused as to how it wound up with the other woman. It was possible she had accidentally brought it to the other room. She would not have given it intentionally, as the uniforms were issued according to rank and division. The white of hers was not a personal preference, but marked her as a military healer. “Thank you. I didn’t mean to put it with the other clothes. Just set it on the bed ( ... )

Gise placed the uniform on the bed. "Your hair looks very nice in that plait. When I spoke of Bert, I was not being disparaging, I was merely pointing out that he is an innocent in the ways of magick and spirituality. We would call him a sleeper, if he has powers and has not awoken to them yet, and a mundane if he has no powers. Which of your shoes would you recommend for the conditions and my outfit? I am not sure boots would look good with a dress such as this."

Gunter was feeling a LOT better today. His body was healed, for the most part, and he managed to release some other tensions. All in all, he was regaining his stride. And what a better way to do it then to go into town and pick up some needed items. He could use another few pairs of pants and maybe another shirt. But he was, as usual, bartering with the clerk.

(ooc: feel free to tag him when you guys feel free. he's flirting for free clothes. and by flirting, i mean propositioning.)

Gise was looking around and saw a tall and slender man shopping; he had long lavender hair, like her father's. She moved around the racks as stealthily and feline as she could, stalking the man to see his face. Once she did, she could not believe her eyes. She screamed both out of joy and fright, then she shouted at the man. "Mon Père! Qu'est-ce que vous fait ici? Est-ce que vous êtes ici vraiment?" She spoke so fast and exasperatedly that she had to catch her breath afterward.

He was just about to seal the deal on his arrangement when he was suddenly the center of everyone's attention. He was used to attention, but not usually called out to. And that language. It stirred somewhere in the back of his mind, like he'd learned it once before, but was tremendously unsure at what it all meant. Plus, it was rather swiftly spoken.

He managed to get a good look at her, despite her hysterics and noticed the other familiar face in the shop. That explained a lot. He hadn't heard about a Gisela double, but why not? He didn't belong here himself either.

"Are you alright?" He took a few steps toward her, an expression of concern on his face. "Am I fair to assume that you are a Gisela that has been displaced?"

Her smile turned to a frown of disappointment, the man wasn't her father as she had hoped. She looked up at him speaking in a thicker Walloon accent than before, "Oui Monsieur, I am from Earth, a parallel world to here. You look so much like my father that I had gotten excited. But you are not he. I was speaking our native French, I am from a country called Belgium, in the half that speaks French called Walloonia."
