Day 81: Wolf's World, Stables Morning

Wolfram yawned and blinked several times. The boards under him were hard and he distinctly remembered going to sleep in Geika’s bed, even though Geika hadn’t been there. A familiar smell assaulted his nostrils. He felt dirty and disoriented. Where was he? He lifted his hand to rub at his faced and jolted upwards from what seemed like an explosion

Wolf didn’t take long to come to, he felt a little warm. The whole day had so far been one emotional moment after the other so it was no wonder he had passed out. The last thing he remembered was looking into Yuuri’s eyes. They were so sharp and worried and beautiful ... and different. He could hear them talking but what they said was coming through like he had cotton stuffed in his ears. He reached up a hand and rubbed his face groggily. He certainly didn’t feel at all like himself and that was starting to annoy him then slowly their words started to make more sense and he began to get annoyed. What was he saying!? Don’t tell him any more

“I don’t cry!” Wolf remarked petulantly. Of course he did, he just didn’t like admitting it. Why couldn’t they have had a life together? If he had been given the chance he would have gone /to/ Yuuri. But then, he’d have had to leave his own family behind, hadn’t he done that anyway staying in Younger Yuuri’s world? Perhaps he had jumped too quickly into that relationship with Murata. Stunned, Yuuri turned over onto his back, he kept his hands out of Wolframs way until he started to get closer and closer to- "Wait," Yuuri leaned up and grabbed hold of one of Wolframs hands. "We can't do this, you said it yourself." Clearly, Yuuri wasn't sure exactly what Wolfram intended to do.

"Well, I'm sure they have alot to catch up on." Jennifer began, before waving goodbye to the boys and leaving the house.
"I can remember this." Yuuri said after plucking the note from Muratas hand and looking it over. "I just hope my world doesn't have to encounter that wizard...it was terrible, Murata, even Greta was- she was fighting I can't even think about it witout getting sick..." Yuuri retook a seat and sighed. "No matter who ends up there that guy has to be stopped."

Yuuris jaw dropped at the suggestion. It wasn't like Wolfram had ever been very concealing about his feelings but right now he couldn't think straight himself. "Wolfram...I know you say you keep saying no but...you're very indecisive here." Yuuri took a deep breath, letting it out between his lips to calm down. "My other self is me and if it were me and if I was the younger me I'd be appalled at just what we've done so far. It's because I was inexperienced, don't you remember?" He had always been nervous when it came to things like this. But, Yuuri was silent for a moment before he continued. Yuuri gave Wolfram an apologetic look and shifted so he was sitting up completely. Wolf stayed lying on his side as he looked up at Yuuri. He rested an arm behind his head and smiled. Somehow, he had to rein in his feelings and desires and force himself back into control. One way to do that was to draw upon the former Maoh’s strength and fill himself with that spirit. He linked their fingers together. “I know.” He nodded softly. “I love you, Yuuri. I wish I could be at your side forever, but I can’t be. Who knows when we can see each other again? That’s why I’m indecisive. I don’t want to hurt anyone.” He ran a hand through his hair, finally managing to settle down a little. He couldn’t bring himself to hurt Yuuri or Murata no matter how much he wanted to. “My body wants you, so does my heart. But my head says it’s a bad idea and it will hurt other people and in the end, probably hurt us too. You want me. You want to be with me still after all this time. "Don't worry, we're here." As if on cue the elder Yuuri walked, He was dressed just as he had been earlier, his button up shirt nice and neat. "Sorry...we had alot to talk about."

"I don't doubt it, Wolfy do you still feel sick? There's curry here for you guys."

"Murata," Yuuri greeted his friend, knowing that his younger self probably filled him in on what was going on- if Murata wasn't already aware of it.

Wolf lost himself in Yuuri for that one precious moment in time. He gave himself over without thinking about anything else. It was all they would ever have. He knew in his heart that they were doing the right thing for both of them. He’d be able to let go, and Yuuri could find some peace. There was a world of difference in the knowledge that you are loved instead of always having that question lingering. What if... What if... Now he knew the answer. He could stay now on younger Yuuri’s world without worrying about what might have been and he could do what his Yuuri wanted him to do. Find Happiness and most especially ... live. He could hold that in his heart forever. It was like a dream, a fairytale that should have been and would still have a happy ending in spite of the pain. They would be together in another life

Yuugi gaped shamelessly at the sparkling way that Wolfy entered the room. He was so...so happy! So freely and openly smiling! "Y-you feel better, then?" Yuuri asked, holding out the plate to the blond companion before it was snatched up to be eaten.

"So you know how to fix what's going on. Good news." Yuuri also took his plate and began to eat. But he was quick about it, knowing they were short on time.

The younger of the Yuuris looked back to Murata. Letting Wolfy eat at his leasure. "Then you know what to do? Do you really think you can help get rid of leisure the wizard that easily?"
