Day 7, Afternoon

Nov 07, 2007 23:49

After some lazying around and dozing off in the garden, he decided to take Murata's advise and ask if they needed some help in the stables. He did want to go to town but seeing an annoying guard watching him, he thought he'd better stay on the castle ground ( Read more... )

Gwendal had taken a walk to the stables intent on feeding his favorite horse a much deserved carrot.

What he didn't expect to see was a dirty Wolfram working hard and sweating.

Must be the double. His brother would never resort to such manual labor.

"You must be Wolf," Gwendal greeted walking near the boy. "It is unnecessary for you to clean the stalls."

There was a very bright smile crossing Wolf's face when he saw the person who just talked to him, as if he saw someone he hadn't seen in quite some time, "Gwen!! I mean.. Gwendal.

Euhm yeah.. I just wanted to help. It's no biggie, really."

"I commend you for your willingness to help." He walks closer ignoring the stench of the stables and sweaty people.

"By the enthusiasm you used for my name I must assume you were fond of your world's version of me?" That's certainly a nice change from the revulsion Julia felt towards her world's version.

He surveyed the amount of work Wolf had done in his area. "You've been busy."

He grinned, "yeah but I've done this sort of work before. In a way it's even fun!" Except for the sweat, the flies and the soar limps.

"It's.. euhm I just don't see you much in my world. It's been like a year or something. I'd give you a hug but I smell pretty bad." He chuckled and jerked his hand up in the air to keep the bugs away. "I seem to attract the flies though!"

Gwendal ignored the sound of Wolf quickly catching up and hurried as fast as he could, visualizing that instead of a goal it was a great beast that he'd have to shoot the ball towards in order to save the kingdom.

He was still a distance away but Wolf was too close so he concentrated, aimed, and kicked the ball so that it went directly to the rock from half the field's distance away.

"I believe that puts me ahead by one," he said with a smirk.

Wolf stopped running and looked at the ball, "wow, how did you do that?!" It wasn't fair he was the expert and Gwendal was just playing for the first time!

"I'm commander of the demon armies. Do you really think I'd allow myself to be anything but good in any physical activity I might take part in?"

"......commander of the demon armies? That doesn't sound like a good thing." And he says it so proudly.

He went to fetch the ball again, "and it's not normal to be so good so fast! It took me years to get to my level," he pouted.
