After some lazying around and dozing off in the garden, he decided to take Murata's advise and ask if they needed some help in the stables. He did want to go to town but seeing an annoying guard watching him, he thought he'd better stay on the castle ground

He was still a distance away but Wolf was too close so he concentrated, aimed, and kicked the ball so that it went directly to the rock from half the field's distance away.
"I believe that puts me ahead by one," he said with a smirk.

He went to fetch the ball again, "and it's not normal to be so good so fast! It took me years to get to my level," he pouted.

His hands knit in the air absently. "I do prefer to be above average. Can you do any tricks with the ball or do we just kick it back and forth up and down the field?"
Reply
"There are some tricks.. but I don't want to teach you." He made a 'hmph' sound and crossed his arms. Gwendal would probably be all good in it and he just.. didn't like that.

He takes the ball away from Wolfram and tosses it in his hands and then hits it with his knee. It sure bounced really high. He caught it on his other knee and bounced it up again. "This is kinda fun."
He tosses it back to Wolfram. "Can you hit it with your head? I imagine that would take a great deal of skill and accuracy, but it wouldn't involve using your hands, so it would be legal, correct?"

He looked annoyed at Gwendal. "Are you sure soccer doesn't exist in this world? You seem to be awful familiar with it.."
He catched the ball with his hands, "correct." He nodded.
He threw the ball up in the air, catching it with his head, making it bounce a few times. Then he let it fall behind his back where he catched it with his foot. He switched from foot to foot a few times before he somehow swept the ball to his front again and kicked it with his knee before catching it with his hands.
"Can you do that too?" He let the ball fall on the ground and kicked it towards Gwendal. He wouldn't be surprised if the guy could.

He gave it an effort anyway and lifted the ball and tossed it in the air. He moved so that when it fell it would hid his head and bounce back to the sky. It kinda hurt!
He did it a few more times before attempting to catch it with his foot behind his back as Wolf had, but he missed and it fell to the ground. He frowned at it as if purposely made him miss. "No, it seems you're the master at this game. And now I've a headache," he said rubbing his fingers over his head where he'd been bouncing the ball.

He grinned widely at Gwendal but then he looked a bit worried, "oh I'm sorry."
It was a little strange to him cause he didn't even really feel the ball anymore when it lands on his head. Well, he does feel it but it doesn't hurt. It did it the beginning though, "does it hurt bad?"

He glanced at the ball once more as if it were his enemy.
"I really must return to my office and get back to work. I had intended to do some sword practice. Would you be interested in learning to sword fight tomorrow afternoon around this time?"

Thanks!" He gave Gwendal a hug in his excitement. Sword play sounded just so cool to him and he liked spending time with his brother as well. Even though it wasn't really his brother, it was close enough.

Gwendal adored children and teaching was a past-time he enjoyed though it was seldom that he'd have an opportunity.
He stepped back from the embrace. "Until tomorrow then. I'll bring one of Wolfram's first swords. It will be excellent to learn from. Lightweight yet durable."

See ya tomorrow!"
He stayed behind on the field playing around with the ball a little more.
