Day 60, super early morning (pre-dawn)

Jun 21, 2010 20:05

Gunter had travelled straight through the night to get back to the castle. All of Josak's advance preparation was most useful, though he didn't need most of the money he was given. He did manage to secure several bottles of wine from one of the vinyards close to his family's estate, though he didn't burden his mother with his presence. Last ( Read more... )

It was the taste of wine that pulled him out of sleep, and then the press of lips against his own. Instinct made him stay still until he could assess the threat - though no fiend ever tried this form of attack. It would be nice if they did...

He opened his eyes and found himself looking up at a pale beauty. His lips twitched in a small smile before he leaned up to deepen the kiss, pressing his tongue into a wine-sweetened mouth.

Gunter let his tongue dance with Josak's for a brief moment before pulling away with a smile. He whispered, out of respect for the possibly present Gwendal. "I didn't want to wait until the sun was up to let you know I've returned. But either you approve of the wine, or you missed me. Whichever reason is enough."

Yozak let his head drop back to his pillow. "I missed you," he replied, just as quietly. "The wine was a nice surprise though. Welcome home." He wound his arms around Gunter's waist to try and pull him down onto the bed beside him. "I wasn't expecting you until later. You didn't travel through the night, did you?"

Gunter let himself get pulled onto the bed, always willing to be led by anyone willing to lead him. "I did, but I was wide awake and wanted to go as long as I could. Before I realized it, I was here. Your assistance was much appreciated, and that lovely girl asked me to kisss you for her. Though she giggled and followed up with 'only if you'd be willing.' I suppose she thought I would hesitate to such things." He smiled and set the bottle on the floor before rolling back and snuggling into Josak. "This is by far the warmest bed I've had in days."

"Yours? I don't think so." Regardless, Yozak took another long drink before passing it over Gunter to Gwendal. "Lucky for you, I'm in a generous mood."

Gunter laughed, amused by how well the roomates were getting along. This room was much less tense than his often was, and sorting out his objectives during his trip, he was feeling much more relaxed. "How is it? It's a local wine from an vineyard near the von Christ castle. They've provided my family with wine for several generations. In the past, I used to think it was rather strong, but that, I believe, was my intolerance."

Gwendal wiped at the top of the bottle with his sleeve and took a long swallow. With a grimace, he pulled it away from his lips. "It is strong, but after the last couple days I've had, I need it." He took another swig, wiped his mouth and handed it over to Gunter. Even though his tolerance for the local vintages had grown, he still had to watch his intake. The question was whether or not he wanted to right now.

Yozak settled back and raised his arms up over his head, and then dropped them down so his hands were on his lap. The bed wasn't really made for three, and there wasn't much room for his shoulders.

"It's good." Though he didn't find it all that strong. "It was better the first time I tasted it, but I'm very happy with the choice."

(OOC: Sorry for the delay.)
