Day 60, super early morning (pre-dawn)

Jun 21, 2010 20:05

Gunter had travelled straight through the night to get back to the castle. All of Josak's advance preparation was most useful, though he didn't need most of the money he was given. He did manage to secure several bottles of wine from one of the vinyards close to his family's estate, though he didn't burden his mother with his presence. Last ( Read more... )

It was the taste of wine that pulled him out of sleep, and then the press of lips against his own. Instinct made him stay still until he could assess the threat - though no fiend ever tried this form of attack. It would be nice if they did...

He opened his eyes and found himself looking up at a pale beauty. His lips twitched in a small smile before he leaned up to deepen the kiss, pressing his tongue into a wine-sweetened mouth.

Gunter let his tongue dance with Josak's for a brief moment before pulling away with a smile. He whispered, out of respect for the possibly present Gwendal. "I didn't want to wait until the sun was up to let you know I've returned. But either you approve of the wine, or you missed me. Whichever reason is enough."

Yozak let his head drop back to his pillow. "I missed you," he replied, just as quietly. "The wine was a nice surprise though. Welcome home." He wound his arms around Gunter's waist to try and pull him down onto the bed beside him. "I wasn't expecting you until later. You didn't travel through the night, did you?"

Gunter let himself get pulled onto the bed, always willing to be led by anyone willing to lead him. "I did, but I was wide awake and wanted to go as long as I could. Before I realized it, I was here. Your assistance was much appreciated, and that lovely girl asked me to kisss you for her. Though she giggled and followed up with 'only if you'd be willing.' I suppose she thought I would hesitate to such things." He smiled and set the bottle on the floor before rolling back and snuggling into Josak. "This is by far the warmest bed I've had in days."

"I'm happy to oblige." He shifted a bit, making more room for the other man on his bed and yanking the blanket around so he could get it over both of them. It didn't bother him that Gunter had been traveling, and smelled like it. He pulled the pale man close and kissed the top of his head. "I have been so bored. Though some of the rumors going around have been interesting."

"It's a pity there hasn't been anyone to entertain you. I do hope I am not offensive, as I'm certain I could use a bath." But that didn't really stop him from getting comfortable. And stroking Josak's arms. "So tell me, what are these rumors? I'd hate to think I missed out on the most excitement since my arrival."

"I don't mind." He snuggled in a little closer, settling in. This was nice. "Rumors that Gwen and Nissi weren't the only Gwendal and Anissina to hook up. Something might have gone on with Wolfram and Heika... or was it the other Yuuri? And your double's apparently decided to cut off his daughter. I haven't confirmed that one."

"Somehow, Anissina and Gwendal aren't all that surprising. I just wonder if he'd be able to survive such endeavors. That other Yuuri seems to have mischeif up his sleeve, so it doesn't surprise me too much either, though I am now quite intrigued as to what occured. That last bit though..." He paused, frowning at such news. "...I can't imagine what could have happened to do such a thing. I can't imagine what he must have been thinking, though it may be another one of his delusional thoughts. If I understand correctly, he believed someone in this castle was out to kill him. Whatever world he went to must have been difficult for him. I should talk to him. Later. I'm quite content to stay here a bit longer, if that's alirght."

"Perfectly alright." He sighed a bit, shaking his head. "No offense, but every Gunter we've had so far seems to have had something wrong with them. There was a thief one that I missed meeting. Anyway, from what I understood, it had something to do with that day. And given how he is... I can only imagine."

"Well, according to some, my taste for alcohol and company could be what's wrong with me." He smiled briefly. "I guess I should find Gisela at some point too and congratulate her. She is probably in need of some support, and someone to not look down upon her actions. If your rumors are true, and even the red devil was involved, then certainly she can't be blamed." As Gunter spoke, his fingers begain to move over Josak's arms and torso.

"I'm okay with your kind of wrong. Then, I'm just a half-blood mongrel." He smiled at the thought of Gisela being congratulated, but agreed. She might need some support if what Gwendal told him was true.

The touching was nice, and he made an appreciative sound. He craned his neck a bit to see if Gwendal was asleep nearby, but he couldn't tell. He couldn't think of any reason why his roommate wouldn't be in the room this early.

"And a skillful one at that." Skillful at what he didn't say, but that wasn't important. The noises Josak was making, that was important, and he quite liked them. Although he'd like to hear more, he shouldn't try for it. But then again, that was exciting in it's own right. He knew what Josak was looking for, but instead of acknowledging it, he took advantage of the outstretched neck before him and pressed his lips against it. If his fingers did anything, it was to press slightly harder as they moved.

Yozak gasped, and bit down on what would have been a much louder utterance, his head returning to the pillow. "Devil. What are you trying to do?" A smirk was in his voice, and he didn't do anything to stop Gunter, however. His fingers found their way to Gunter's back and crawled up his spine.

"Sometimes I just can't help myself when I'm entrapped in anothers' embrace." It was getting difficult to keep his voice lower, but the hands on his back made the next breath he exhaled long against Josak's neck. "But perhaps you are the devil, luring me into this trap."

Gwendal's night had been restless so far. For as tired as he was from the previous night's baking episode, he still wasn't sleeping well. Instead he was in that state of aware, yet not aware; where reality was still a dream and those dreams seemed like reality. He stirred, turning over in the bed, murmuring as he dreamed. "No, it's a trap. Don't eat that. It's the devil's scone."

"Who was it that tempted me with wine on his lips, hmm?" The breath across his neck was cool against his quickly heating skin and he felt goosebumps rise across his arms. And then a jolt as he heard a voice from the other bed. Ah, so they weren't alone. A question answered!
