The room Anissina dropped him off at had an annoying herd of guards lurking outside in the hallway. The room itself was nicer than anything he'd lived in back in his world. Mostly because it still had four standing walls.
After a casual wave to the guards he went into the library. There were several interesting titles and very helpful maps of the land. He found one of the novels written by Anissina and slipped it into the inner folds of his shirt. Surely no one would miss it - he might even return it one day. There was also an interesting set of blueprints for the castle.
He sat down at a table hidden by bookcases from a casual observer and settled down to start memorizing the floor plans.
