It's only appropriate that Arvin should supply the blue. Nicely done.

I'm curious, is this a spur-of-the-moment ceremony?

Sloane manages to weasel his way into everything, bless him.

Not for Jack and Laura- I don't think Jack really knows how to be spontaneous- but I'm sure it was a surprise for the Sloanes.

Yes, even the thought of Jack being spontaneous is disconcerting.

Now keeping their plans secret from the Sloanes, that makes much more sense.

You did it! Yay! I quite like this too -- both Arvin's odd role in the "something blue," and the fact that Irina's culture knowledge of the West didn't cover that odd little rhyme.

More WWBH shall be written this weekend!

Thank you! I was worried that it would be seen as lame, because Irina's training was obviously incredibly thorough, but I feel like it's kind of an obscure thing.

I am doing a little jig of glee in anticipation.

Oh, I like this. Nice touch with the sort of tiny cultural snippet Irina might have missed, and of course Arvin would find his way to get involved somehow.

I really thought about whether or not it'd be something they'd teach Irina- and then realized it's not something you really learn, it's just something you know. Even the wikipedia, fine source that it is, doesn't have an entry on it.

And Arvin was psyched that he was involved.
