"an awful mixture of sadness, but incredible pride"... yeah, that about sums it up. Glad that his talent is being recognized, but sad that it took his death for voters to sit up and take notice...

LOTR Trilogy and Hobbit Feast
They've been doing this screening almost every year since the release of The Return of the King. Pretty cool. Better than Trilogy Tuesday--the food is included in the admission price (and the food's quite tasty... *sigh*) -

Ewan McGregor as Carlo Ventresca in Angels & Demons... interesting... very cool indeed...
