Sheesh, check out the Grelvish at 0:20 on this video: AAAAAARGH! [*Much Sindarin profanity*]. Isn't there some kind of app I can buy, that will administer vicious automatic kicks to the sacroiliac of anyone who uses such a bastardization as 'mellonamin'?
Well, the situation would be somewhat different this time with no other duties than the calendar, and everything in home office. (So it's not the fun part of working at a magazine and in fact quite tedious, but on the other hand, easier to plan. At least in theory.)
The fact also remains that I'm young (but old enough to need some job experience) and in need of money. I do hope to get into something better next summer (when, hopefully, Julian has settled into a full kindergarten day and Felix is perhaps comfortable enough with school to stay for the daycare option), but applying for anything will probably be easier from a situation of "I've been doing this all along" than from a situation of pure housewifery.
On the other hand, yes, I did feel awful. On the other other hand, I really enjoyed some of it. In conclusion, I just don't know but it's not that easy. :/
Alright. In that case I would probably go for the old pro vs. contra-list. If it pays well enough (in money and opportunities) to make it worthwhile do it. If not - don't.
Tolkien, but Silmarillion rather than LOTR. (So it's gonna be read by people who are erudite enough to have ploughed through the "high prose" of that chronicle, and who are less likely to be fooled by pretentious phrasing. >_>)
I just wish I could care less and not be so damn insecure about it.
Yeah, no clue about the decision. Thank you for the well wishes though.
You're welcome, and as to decision, if the person in charge has been so unpleasant in the past, it might not be worthwhile getting involved in their work project again...just a thought, I don't know the details, of course.

Sounds like an essay to me and I hope it is received better than you anticipate. What fandom is it in, LOTR?
Hope the work assignment turns out OK, whichever decision you make about it.
*Hugs*
