... man, I go on vacation for a week and the world goes completely mad. I expected some of it (but not this much!) and thus stayed away from the news in my happy little Alpine valley, but coming back and catching up isn't fun either when there's such a clusterfuck to catch up with. Boo

Yep! I can totally relate to that. That's a metaphor for how I have made choices in my life! It does not make for an easy retirement, but builds a lot of terrific memories!

Haha, he is awesome. But he's going to get in so much trouble, it's hard to watch even when I know I'd probably be the same. I can relate to his skiing attitude, too! I found steering or braking vastily overrated as a teenager too! These days, I'd wish he'd be more willing to put some effort into learning the basic technique before speeding ahead. But look who's talking! XD
