I've had a long, hard day and I'm very sore....woke up late for dialysis, & in getting ready had a heavy platform walker fall on my head, causing an instananeous lump that grew over the next few hours. Well, I've been on hydrocodone (up to 4 10/500 a day) for several years now. Dr. Mohan (the nephrologist) doesn't have a problem with them right now. I'm lucky in that regard, I guess. And there are plenty of meds I couldn't take before but needed to (like Fosamax, for osteoporosis) that he's put me on. I think he's watching the med list with a close eye, and I'd have it no other way. =D

Yes, he was. Any doc that makes you bawl needs to retake "Bedside Manner 101". I think that should be standard law. *nods* *hugs back*

Exactly. I think Dan was kinda pissed about it, too....he told me he'd wanted to tell him to shut up. However, I got my own back ~ the hospital called today to do a survey on yesterday's service. Oh, I let them know everything BUT that doctor was fine, and told the lady everything he said to me, and how rudely. She was a bit upset for me, I think...and said she was definitely going to turn that in, with his name and all. Turns out he's not really an ER doc, but an eye doc that they call in for cases that come through like mine. I hope he gets a proper scolding! *hugs* How's Xan? You must email me and let me know what all is going on in your life, I don't get to read LJ nor FB much. Do you have my email address? Better yet, my phone number?

Well, I've been up for about half an hour now, and so far it feels like someone hit my head with a Mack truck. The pain meds will kick in soon, I'm hoping! *much loves* Miss you, chica.
