Well, I just now saw Biv's post and feel as though I missed some of the formatting and content I should have included.

That, and I have nothing better to do tonight besides clean, which clearly isn't happening.

Let's see....
I graduated in April 2011 with a BA in History. Which looks great in a frame in my bedroom. Which is probably the most it'll ( Read more... )

1. I knew it. Can't resist the Napoleon subway!

2. Andy is doing more than I would have done :P

3. Don't get discouraged about the job market - it still sucks here. I've had a guy calling me for a week - and he admits it every time he calls - checking up on his resume. "I've been trying to contact you for about a week now..." TAKE A HINT. Just make sure that when you upload a resume, it is actually your resume - not a photo of yourself. :)

If you need someone to look at your resume, I may be able to fix it up (if it needs fixing at all). I stare at them for half of the day everyday I am here.

I think my resume is pretty decent actually. It's more the interviewing that I'm sucking at. My social awkwardness is not an asset. I'm getting a lot of calls and interviews, but no job. Maybe I should just head back to the Big K. Haha.

Interviewing takes practice. You get used to answering questions they way you want, you hear a lot of different questions. You're smart (last I knew :P) so it'll come through.

General law, he's the only guy in town. So he does civil, criminal, divorce, estate planning, probate... I'm getting pretty good at drafting documents for all of the above, not to toot my own horn. I was working on interrogatories until 10 last night. It's kind of fun.

Also, that made me think of "what kind of law are you involved in, pretty eyes?". "sexual harassment mostly."

Also also, the car isn't exactly running per se. I kind of gave up on it in like fall 2010. It should only need a couple of replacement parts. Pdrakester's dad is working on it.

Oh yeah, that's right. I remember seeing it in their driveway recently. If I recall right, it didn't go so well.
