(no subject)
Well, I just now saw Biv's post and feel as though I missed some of the formatting and content I should have included.
That, and I have nothing better to do tonight besides clean, which clearly isn't happening.
Let's see....
I graduated in April 2011 with a BA in History. Which looks great in a frame in my bedroom. Which is probably the most it'll ever do for me.
Oh yeah, had a kid. He'll be a year old in 10 days. Still pretty crazy. But he's really great.
We're living in Pinckney. Right by Hell. I can pretty much smell the brimstone from here.
Hoping to move towards Jackson (sigh) in September when our lease is up. Allegedly there's a few babysitters that work pro bono out there (like my mom, sister and Arlene).
I've been working at Andy's dad's Law Office. Oh yeah! Andy- thing are good on that front. He changes diapers and does laundry and dishes, so I'm definitely not complaining yet.
Working at the law office, on the other hand, is a pain. I really like the work... I do reception and clerical stuff, but also research and work on cases which is really cool. Andy's dad is not the greatest delegator though and he's a hot mess to try and work with.
So... I've been filling out applications and going to interviews a lot lately. Nothing yet. It's pretty discouraging.
Oh yeah, I sold my car finally. That was hard.
I'm definitely rambling way too much. I'm just really excited about this. Also, it's really hard for me to go to sleep at a decent hour... still.
Anyways, I'll try to refrain from typing anymore tonight.
