Last night, after I got off work, my cousin and I re-enacted that scene from Fellowship of the Rings where the fellowship trek uphill in the mountains in the snow, carrying hobbits. Yeah, I think I met sasha_feather at Kat's goodbye party, and sunqist at an Empires show, etc. etc. Fandom, it are small.

i have absolutely no idea how i'm going to keep track of all my yuletide recs. i just went through one fandom's worth yesterday and i have like six recs. i guess i'll just be bookmarking them all in AO3? idek. but i am so fucking pumped to read through everything; i sense i'm still going to be reading and reccing in the spring, rofl.

also, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmimosas. XD

In the past I've just kept everything I wanted to rec open in tabs, but that a) worked better with the old system which was clunky to begin with, and b) was kind of...well. A lot of tabs. Not that that bothers me! But still. This year I am using the AO3 bookmarking tool, which is totally awesome, and tagging everything with "yuletide recs", and then I'll expand my recs and possibly my tags when I finally get to the recing stage. I am extremely methodical with yuletide, though -- it's so huge! I have to stay organized! :D
