[Oliver is sitting on the beach when he turns the sphere on. He has obviously been swimming, as his hair is wet, and he is wearing a pair of swim trunks, but he has pulled on a T-shirt since then--the first hint that his normal inhibitions are back, including his self-consciousness about his scars, which are safely hidden by the black shirt

[Large shadow unintentionally looms over Oliver, and Ammy cocks his head, looking bewildered.] Oliver, I don't see what you should be upset about. What's goin' on?

[turns in surprise at the shadow] What-

[stops, stunned--but there's no mistaking the markings, is there?] Wait. Ammy!?

Yo. [He waves, settling into a comfortable cross-legged position on the sand next to Oliver. Ammy's clothes have luckily changed with the gender switch, and he seems really relaxed in this form. He's also rather massive compared to his usual form, but doesn't seem to notice the changes.]

You okay? You sound kinda down.

[oliverplus]

[stares for a moment] Ammy, what...what happened!?

Oliver... are you going to be okay?

[oliverplus]

[winces, then forces a smile] Yeah, Yako, I'm okay. What about you?

[katsuragi_yako]

I'm fine! Just fine. Unchanged as far as I can tell.

[oliverplus]

[Ohhhh, that's interesting...]

So you've noticed, too? I mean... [gestures vaguely] The other passengers.

[was definitely not expecting that reaction] What!? You have nothing to say that for! After what I just put you through...

Take advantage of me!? Lara, I may not have been aware of it at the time, but I know how hard you worked to stay on safe topics. And you were vulnerable yourself! I know you would've rather kept away from other people for a few days, but you didn't. And you feel guilty for working that hard to help me?

I...I just... [trails off, losing his momentum; he's having trouble looking her in the eye] Don't apologize to me. Not for helping. Honestly, Lara, who took advantage of who?

[smiles faintly] Heh, thanks Lyle. I just... [pauses, not sure what to say] I'm sick of not being able to...to keep from having my head messed with.

I'm guessing you don't really want me to apologize. But just so you know, I...you know, I wouldn't say anything. About what we talked about.

[Nods, a bit of a wry smile on his face.] Yeah? I think I can understand that.

Nah, you don't need to apologise. If I'm honest, I felt better afterwards. [His smile becomes a bit of a grin.] But I won't say anything either, if you don't.

Really? [smiles] Well, that's good, then! And thanks--I appreciate it. [gives him a meaningful look]

I would say I'm just glad the insanity's over for now, but...clearly not!
