Back to school

It is back to school for Sean. As much as we enjoyed the hols, I think a part of us is quite happy to resume our usual routine ;)

That is not nice. Why would they ban parents? At our school, they want to build strong relationships between the parents and the teachers so parents are welcomed. The first day of school, Siena's teacher even invited all the parents to sit in on the first lesson to watch, which was quite fun.

Maybe you can talk to the school principal to see why he has such a strange rule and encourage him/her to make some changes. Good luck! The first day of school is stressful enough for both parents and kids as it is without rules like this.

Parents are allowed to watch the children in the school hall but were not allowed to follow them to their classrooms (I guess to minimize disruption). I don't even know what his class looks like. I wasn't the only parent who thought the new school seemed less welcoming. Will feedback to his teacher :(
