Back to school
It is back to school for Sean. As much as we enjoyed the hols, I think a part of us is quite happy to resume our usual routine ;)
Some pics from his first day of Term 3 (their indulgent Yeye bought them a school bear each!):
The big change this term is that Sean's school has moved to a brand new campus.
I swung by with Ryan to have a look in the morning - because we missed the parents' orientation earlier - and was quite disappointed to find that the old school charm and openness of the compound (that we fell in love with at his old campus) are no more. Parents were barred from even stepping into the classrooms block, let alone look in on them. It just seemed so cold and uninviting for a kindy.
I am more than a little heartbroken - I can't imagine not being able to look in on Ryan when he starts pre-nursery next year :(
Ah well, we will see how things go. Here's wishing Sean a wonderful second half school year ahead!
