Landscape painting at heART Studio

Yesterday, Sean attended one of heART Studio's December Holiday Program to do some landscape painting.

He remembered he was last there to paint a Cat Robot (under their June holiday program) and was very happy to be back. He looked very comfortable in class and was in Teacher J's good hands so I didn't hang around.

During the class, the children were taught how to segment their canvas into different sections, incorporate different shapes and patterns (like squiggly lines, zigzags, swirls, dots, etc) into the landscape and use contrasting colours to bring out the designs.

Thought Sean's completed artwork looked really good (no doubt he had some help from the teacher!). It's going up his wall for sure.

When I picked him up, he was bouncing all over class and being his usual chatterbox self so I gathered he had fun :)

I really like the calm, relaxed vibe of the heART Studio and how good the teachers are with the children.

Sean obviously enjoys the classes too so I am seriously considering signing him up for Little Dali classes (for 3-4yo) next year (once I get our busy schedules sorted)!

Many thanks to A Happy Mum (for the giveaway) and heART Studio's for the opportunity!

If you are looking for something worthwhile to do for your little ones during the hols, you can check out their December Holiday Program.
