Curious about the name Dhani, I did a little searching around. There are claims that it is taken from the notes in Indian music, where Dha Ni follows Ma and Pa! I think even if this weren't true, it is a really cute idea. Another claim is that it is supposed to mean wealthy in Hindi; Dhan-Dhani. Do you know if either is true?

I vaguely remember an interview with George Harrison where he supported the theory that the name Dhani comes from the notes in Indian music... But, he could well have been joking.. ;) It is a cool story anyways, though!

beautiful - I've grown attached to George and his music. May I say, the seed was planted by your earlier Wilbury post with "Tala Mala Sheela..":).

I think he is terribly underrated and as much a Beatle in his own right as any of the others. Great music, currently listening to the song where he goes "Really wanna know you...(chorus) Hallejulah, Hare Rama " Great music is many a times a result of clarity of thought and intense peace of mind. No doubt Harrison was an equal parts spiritual seeker:)

Why, thank you! :)

My Sweet Lord is a beautiful song.. Billy Preston did a superb cover of that song during the tribute concert, really brought the audience to its feet..

Nicely put mate, and very true in Harrison's case..
