Also.
I am going to Africa. Africa. I get this way after our Sunday meetings for the trip, when I suddenly realize I'm going to Africa. Kenya and Tanzania for a semester. And maybe more afterward, because the trip ends the first week in December and our only obligation is to be back for school in the middle ( Read more... )

I can't wait to see the moon....in AFRICA!

I am sad that I cannot bring along friends as well, though the Roommate Boy is coming with, and some other people I know (because I go to a tiny school so I couldn't *not* go with people I know). I will be sure to keep you updated though. I will probably get a new blog specifically for l'Afrique.

Oh my Goodness, AFRICA? You're SO lucky! I wish I could go with my school. :p I tried a volunteering program for Angola a couple of years ago, but then my mom got pregnant and the due date was in the time was supposed to be away. :p I so wish I could go. :)

Maybe you'll get there someday? I've wanted to go forever and I'm finally getting the chance (and already trying to figure out ways I'll be able to get back). Don't give up on it!

I am going to South Africa for two weeks this May for a choir trip, and I am super excited myself. Of course, you'll be there for a much longer time, so I imagine it will be a lot cooler. But all the same, I am really excited for both of us.

I really like that quote. I really like how excited you are about writing and realizing that's what you want to do. You not only have talent, you have the conviction to put it to good use. Kick ass, take names, and write about it.

Hunter S. Thompson (that's what I'm calling him now) and I have decided to have weekly bouts of writing. Or I suppose weekend bouts of writing. Except our Saturdays are so very full soon.
There's always Friday nights? Or Sunday, maybe?

I don't know if I have enough talent or enough conviction, haha. But I'm working on it. I may have both but have too much A.D.D., which is why I will have to go live in the wilderness as a hermit until I finish writing a book.

Africa will be amazing. For both of us.
