why don't these guys think to go dig up Hidan? Well, Hidan's buried on Nara land, so he's right in Konoha territory. There's been a lot of upheaval, but I'd guess that's maybe a bit more work than Kabuto wanted to mess with.
where are Suigetsu and Juugo?
I know, right? I'm beginning to get a bit worried that they will become like Hinata's confession.... lost to the Bermuda triangle of Kishimoto's mind, never to be seen or spoken of again. Which is a bummer, as their little storm-troopers moment might be the most badass thing to have happened for awhile in this.
Mmmm, point. I mean, Madara can do that poof thing, but now that I think about it, I wonder if he can't do it inside Konoha because of that magical barrier thing from the Pain Arc.
...What have you done? Now I'm going to ship Suigetsu/Hinata/Juugo. This can only end in tears.
Oh damn. Never though of that before. That'd actually be really adorable, with animal petting like a disney movie and snark from Suigetsu and....and, as you say, would leave my little shipper's heart all wrecked. :(
I thought that at first, too, but it can't be. Hashirama's soul got sucked into the Shinigami last time that happened to him, so none of the Hokages are currently resurrectable. I think it could be one of three things:
1. Izuna 2. Madara's real body (idk if I'm so hot on this theory, but the fandom seems convinced :/a) 3. AIZEN.
...oh, god, no, self, do not suddenly have thoughts of a secret zombie romance between Zombietachi and Anko. no. no. no. don't do it. curses, too late, I thought it orz
I'm not sure! It makes it verrry...intriguing. /wiggles eyebrows
IT'S OKAY I THOUGHT EXACTLY THE SAME THING AND THEN WAS LIKE 'wait wat'. Or at the very least MAJOR INTERNAL ANGST if she has to fight him. I've even been thinking of writing it because, clearly, I am a horrible person
It doooooes. Finally, finally Kishimoto gets me interested again beyond a base effort of loling at everyone and everything. aaaand then pulls a bait-and-switch with toad antics but wtfever.

Raikage doesn't like Naruto! 8D actually, that was like a significant portion of the many reasons I irrationally love the Raikage.

I am curious why he seems to be leading them directly to his hideout though. Trap? Doublecross? Whaaaat?
