I should go the full on Tea Bagger route and complain loudly to a news crew about how Obama supports a more active lifestyle for Americans and I'd bet the Texas legislature would have the law amended by the end of the next session. ;Þ
speaking from my history of having been a lifeguard and swim instructor for 8 years, I can tell you that while water exercise may look easy, it really isn't. While it is low impact, and so really great for older people or people with joint conditions, the water makes everything harder because of the resistance. Even harder with the float belt, because the only thing that float belt is going to do is keep you near the surface.
I would recommend having a bottle of water for yourself on the side of the pool, so that you can keep yourself hydrated while you work.
*sends you some tiger balm and a hot David B to put it on you*
You may want to talk to your instructor about your lack of body fat and floating issues. Perhaps they'd let you wear 2 float belts instead of just one.
We won't be back in the dive well again, so I'm determined not to stress over it. We have one more activity day, this afternoon, then I'm supposed to run the length of 5 1/2 football fields while under water in less than 12 minutes, tomorrow, and then I'm done.

What? That's bloody madness, it's one thing to make kids exercise but making adults do so sounds like communism to me.
You should tell the uni so and as a patriot refuse to take part in it. :P
