Topsy Turvy

So all in all I've been pretty good. Trying to ride on the high of the awesome Bhangra performance this weekend. However, because it's me and I guess this has been coming for awhile I've started cracking up. I ran to the Health Center and got an appointment with my psychiatrist. Good for you. I can only imagine what a difficult decision this must be for you, and I'm proud that you're being courageous and refusing to let "hard" get in the way of what you need.

It's a tough decision to be selfish, since we are always told from infancy that selfishness is bad. But if selfishness gives you the strength to figuring out who you are, and what your goals are, it's very important.

Marriage is hard enough without suppressing discontent, keeping quiet about things that are making you unhappy.

Best of luck planning on where you are heading to next. Are you considering just traveling? Or interning/working somewhere? A friend of mine after graduation traveled around Europe for a few weeks, and then worked in a hotel in Scotland for about two months, giving her almost three to four months in Europe. She always says that was the best decision she ever made (instead of jumping on to the corporate track like I did).

And good for you asking for help.
