Help!

My boss will be out for three weeks due to knee surgery.  I am not suppose to tell anyone that he is out for surgery and I'm not suppose to say he's away on vacation.  All I'm suppose to say is that he's out for a few days.  Here's a sample conversation that I've been having with clients ( Read more... )

That's super awkward. I would be frustrated too. I would think his going on vacation would be better and more appropriate than the blatant lie about being gone only a couple days. Hopefully it's a quick 3 weeks.
