What weighs six ounces and is very dangerous?

Three papers have sneaked up on me.  I don't know where they came from; I can only imagine they were lurking in the dark foliage of the artificial trees in the hallway, just waiting to attack.  Oddly enough, I have absolutely no idea what the political science paper is supposed to be about... or how long it should be... or anything.  The syllabus ( Read more... )

Oh, did we get slammed on the anon_meme, too? Urgh, whatever.

Part of me wants to get defensive about the clique, to be honest-- in general, not just in regards to this entry-- but I think Juli (our Buffy player) covered it well on rps.

So instead, is there anything I can do to help? I didn't feel like I've ignoring or... idk what word-ing Dru, but I'm totally open to any suggestions you have.

Not too badly. RP!S was a lot worse.

I don't think there's a clique. I think there's a cast, which... is different, and not bad. When Carl and Justin had canon mates that I was allowed to talk to, I know I talked to them more than everyone else. I really don't think you guys are doing anything wrong, and I didn't mean to imply that anything needs to change. I had unrealistic expectations and ideas about what it is to be in a cast that's actually... more than just me and one other person. It's a my bad.

I think that people are always going to interpret characters differently - just because one person plays a character well and doesn't play them the same way you do, it doesn't mean that you don't play them well too. And seriously, I constantly worry and analyse everything my characters do - but at the end of the day having fun with RP is what matters. You're doing your best and clearly do worry about improving your playing, so you're on the right track, right?

I wish I could maybe pick up Darla or Spike or someone else for your Dru :< Or to help out somehow.

That's true... very good point. You're right. The operative word in a roleplaying game should be game, yeah? Which means fun. I hope so...

Aw, don't worry about it. I was just getting it out of my system. Thank you, though. *hug*

Yeah - it does tend to get to mean more than just a game, because so many emotions get involved, but at the end of the day it's supposed to be a hobby and something enjoyable for you.

It's okay - and I really might consider it, if you think it would help? Let me know. *hugs*

Only play who you want to play. ♥ It'll be fine, I just need to get used to playing someone who's not relatively harmless.

I'm still trying to figure out just how Drusilla and Connor are related. Incestuous vampire families make things all complicated.
