EPIC. I never knew how the heck you used burn/dodge to do anything. LOL

Do you do the highlights with dodge on the same layer as the burn shading? Or do you duplicate that too?

Usually if I am afraid I'm going to make a mistake and I really like what I've done on the burn layer, I'll duplicate the layer with the shadows on it so I don't screw it up with dodge. I also made a new layer a lot when I was first practicing. I really hate doing highlights. XD But yeah, in the end your highlights and shadows should be on the same layer so you can blend them into one another with the smudge tool if you need to.
