“Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” I proclaim, pulling the VHS tape out of its smushed and faded cardboard case.
Dean takes a bite of his pie and raises his eyebrows. “What about it?”
I sigh. “It’s a literary classic and you will watch it. Even though the book was better. The movie will be kinder to your attention spans.”
Sam sniffs and rolls the sleeves down on his flannel shirt. Plaid, of course. “I’ve heard of that. Isn’t it about how Earth is dest--”
“Ah, ah, ah,” I interrupt him before he can spoil the plot. “No spoilers.” I toss him a blanket. “Keep eating those ice chips.”
Sam pulls the blanket over his lap and coughs, but swallows another spoonful of the ice chips I’d smashed for him. Before he puts the spoon in his mouth, he gets Dean’s attention and waves the spoon around in the air, making vaguely feverish-sounding engine noises. Dean chuckles.
I roll my eyes and almost snort. Men. Correct myself. Boys. WinchestersAnd then I’m putting the tape in the Batcave’s VCR

I love the idea of Charlie looking after the boys and the boys being being able to be 'little' boys. So must that they missed out on as kids. Adorable, thanks for sharing xxx
