a man breaks up with his girlfriend and then embarks on single life + dating. however it has a magical realism twist so people date monsters and robots and go to hell and it's played straight. they use it to really imaginatively express certain feelings, relationships and aspects of life it's awesome
I'm totally all for the ONTD meme of photoshopping your favs in Spidey costumes at this point. Reminds me of the Jokerized icons from 2008 of everything
I tried so hard to like this show, but it kept rubbing me the wrong way. I mean the way the scenes commit to a certain joke or concept is really fresh. And the intro and music were great. But...the whole "humor" of the show is that this hapless ~nice-guy~ can't catch a break and how bad we must feel for him struggling to find a girlfriend/get laid. His sister found an actual troll for him! His friend has no trouble finding one night stands! His ex is literally dating hitler! won't someone feel bad for this man!? Oh wait, he is a pathetic, boring loser who treats women as another species and can't talk to them like a normal human (for example that woman he met in the 2nd episode that he brought to the chinese restaurant). Also didn't he find a girlfriend within a few eps but OH NO, COMMITMENT!!!! So he dumps her... and again we are supposed to feel bad for him? YOU JUST HAD WHAT YOU WANTED, FUCK OFF.
