It's so hard to explain this show to my friends to get them to watch lol

Like it's real, but in his head? Idk

Usually what helps is the war room scene from episode 2 where he is figuring out what to text that girl

Right? I tried showing my roommates (who are normally receptive to this kind of stuff) and they laughed at a few of the more outlandish things, but ultimately seemed to not quite get it.

Oh, well. More for me.

I LOVE this show!!! Tanaka omfg I could not stop laughing. Also, I started watching this show, expecting nothing out of the ordinary, then in the pilot, when he's matched with the troll (gorbachaka?iirc), I lost it!!!

eh, I didn't like the short story collection that this show was based on. It came off as nice guy whining.

That's pretty much what the show is but Jay Baruchel is somewhat likable I suppose

This show keeps growing on me more and more. I wasn't into it at the beginning because I usually like ~*straight forward*~ programs, but I've grown to love the crazy parts.

I like that on one hand it's metaphor-heavy, but on the other hand, you can think of the show as an alternate / weird universe if you want.

And I LOVED the episode where Jay & his friend lost their penises at a night club, lol.
