No Simon, you don't understand (again). Even if I'm a fucking stranger on the other side of the planet, you should agree to my rights being the same as yours, not just your momma.

I get more and more angry over "It could be your daughter!" Oh yeah, thanks. And if I don't have a Man In My Life to stand up for me, I'm chopped liver and should have picked a better social surroundings?

Sorry, it's been a long day.

it's sad as fuck that men can't "humanize" the issue unless it affects them directly. ugh.

lol at me writing a third comment, but anyway this reminds me of the bring back our girls "campaign". basically writing something on a piece of paper, taking a photo of it and then instantly forgetting about it.

The campaign for the Nigerian girls was so disheartening because by the time it was trending it was already too late, not that anyone would have done anything anyway. Those poor girls who have been married off, and those poor boys working as slave soldiers

ia, but slightly different imo. The former being a campaign to get politicians to deal with terrorists, that's a little tricky. But having guys everywhere stand up for feminism could actually make young men change their minds/behavior. All kids care about is being on trend, and if this takes off like any other viral campaign- if it stops one guy from calling women sluts or bitches ever again, it will have been a success.

The visible support is nice especially on the sea of anti woman that is the internet, but I dont trust any of these men to be less problematic

This is a step in the right direction.
If you want to keep what little faith you have in humanity, please spend as little time on Twitter as possible.

I had to remind myself of that and the fuckshit comment sections of related articles.

Anyhoo she is fantastic and I want UN Women to hire me.

Really Twitter is pretty good except for their awful harassment policies, which do nothing.
