I heard really bad things about her on The Office, so I didn't watch.

Her character was not very likable, granted, but that's why i liked her

Not that logic has ever stopped Moffat before, but I'm still trying to figure out how someone could write around the whole exploding brain complication.

The Doctor discovers some way of extracting just his memories from her brain? I'm sure there's something in all of the space-time continuum.
Or aliens find out she has the knowledge in her brain, steal it and then they have to team up to stop whatever nefarious deeds the aliens would do with that knowledge.

Really, it's scifi, and it's DOCTOR WHO, you can just pull anything out of your ass, that's clearly what Moffat does. Very literally.

Wouldn't mind her coming back for an appearance. Don't like how every companion has to have something happen to where they can NEVER be around the Doctor ever again.

It does kind of make sense, though. Otherwise they'd have to face the reality that the Doctor's a bit of a gross uncle who likes to party with young chixxx and then dump them.

Not for all of them. Plenty leave on their own accord and become genuine friends/family to the doctor.

Ugh, how they wrote her off was so sad, I can't really see a good way to bring her back. But she was awesome.
