'Sacked for being a woman': Nicollette Sheridan files new lawsuit papers against Desperate Housewive

Ex-Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan has claimed she was sacked from the show ‘for being a woman.’

The star makes the claim in 15 pages of testimony submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court as part of $20 million lawsuit against the show’s creator Marc Cherry and makers ABC.

It was handed over as opposition to a move by Cherry's lawyers

how is this show still on? it's such a hot mess. i watched it for a while but it started getting even worse than daytime soaps so i quit.

Of course they had to throw that in there. Then again, he does act like the absolute worst stereotype of a bitchy, catty, flighty gay man who hates and disrespects women, doesn't he. I kinda doubt she was fired because she's a woman, but it was definitely for a bullshit reason and they had a horrible working relationship. The TV Guide article that came out around the time of Edie's death was so amazingly awkward. Like, they couldn't even use any Hollywood euphemisms to hide how much they loathed each other. So cringey. I remember when this show was ironic and good. :\
